I love Christian music. Working in radio provides great opportunities. One of those came today as Jana and I interviewed Mike Weaver of Big Daddy Weave. We had a blast. We spent over an hour on the phone total, including goofing off when the show was done and just having a down to earth fun time. The show will air Sunday night at 9pm eastern at wgrc.com. I have had an awesome opportunity over the past couple of days to host the afternoon radio show live. The circumstances are not good ones as my friend Bruce has been sick so I do wish it was under different circumstances, but it has been good experience. Don’t forget to check out my Sunday night show along with my co-host Jana Snyder, “Get Real With Dave ‘n’ Jana. It airs at 9pm and can also be heard via internet at www.wgrc.com.

Had an awesome time yesterday as I got to interview Coach Mark Richt of the Georgia Bulldogs. The show will air on 3/8/09 at 9PM. You can listen at wgrc.com. Note the new time. On 3/1/09, the show will start airing on Sundays at 9PM instead of 10PM.

Had a neat opportunity today with the radio show to interview Erin Bethea. She plays the wife of Kirk Cameron’s character in the upcoming movie “Fireproof.” It is due to hit theaters on 9/26/08. She also had a small part in the movie “Facing The Giants.” She was the sportscaster who interviewed the coach of the Giants in the beginning when he had a lollipop and claimed they were fond of the championship and were not going to give it up. Jana and I had a fun time today as we interviewed Josh who is the High School Pastor at Saddleback. This guy is a nut and loves teens. A great combination!!!! He will be featured on our show in the next couple of months as part of a youth ministry series. He knows Jana fairly well and I was hoping to get some stories on her but she black-mailed him because she apparently has some good info on him. So, oh well. I am having fun with the radio show. I will be previewing some new cd’s that are being sent to me. It is just such an amazing outlet for Christian ministry. I am humbled that God would choose me to be a part of this. I am also humbled that others would ask me to listen to their music. Do you have any new music? Well, what are you waiting for?
