All Christians Are Teachers
Philippians 4:9 tells us to pass on what we have learned. Wow!!! You know what is missing? An age restriction. Any Christian, young, or old, is not only to pass on what they know, but also are to be a model for others to follow.
Now get out there and teach the faith. EVERYONE!!!! YES, THAT MEANS YOU!!!

Had two great back to back youth activities this week. I registered for my fall classes coming up, one of which is Hebrew. This will be interesting. All is going well. As we celebrate this Fourth of July, it is important that we remember all the men and women that helped to make this country free. We should however, also remember the One Who died so that we can all be free in Him. Show that you are thankful for your freedom by flying the American Flag and sharing your faith.

Hey gang,
It has been a crazy but good time. We finally have out sewer fixed!! What joy it is to use your own bathroom. I spent the week at Creation Fest ’09 and had a blast. I hope to post pics soon. I also had some time to spend in Tennessee visiting friends and family. We had a great time there as well.

Too many times we find ourselves complaining. We just need to learn that if we just concentrate on being happy in the Lord, things will be alright. Now, this does not mean that we shouldn’t try to improve things or better ourselves. What it does mean though is that in the process we need to be content, knowing that working in God’s strength things will turn out okay.

Metal Detecting and Fishing June 18, 2009

The other day JJ and I took a day trip to West Virginia to do some metal detecting. We found some neat things but the funniest thing was JJ fishing. He got a stick and had some fishing line and hooks in his survival knife. He used worms we found while digging for metal and the turkey caught 5 fish. He is just practicing for the TV show “Survivor” when he gets older. We had a blast.

How easy is it for you to skip out on church, your devotions, your prayer life, or any other aspect of your relationship with God? Don’t let this attitude slip into your life. It will only hurt YOU!!! Make a point to stay committed to the things of the Lord.
